Turning the Big 2-OH, Part I.

Happy Birthday to lil ol' ME!

I officially turned 20 today & I must say, it wasn't as depressing as I thought it would be. To be honest, I was really really surprised with certain developments that made me too sex-cited & actually happy that I was turning 20..leaving my teen years behind & all that jazz. Thanks to YOU for your birthday wishes.

Also, if you notice a dry spell during the months between August & this month (which I'm sure you do because of all the pestering to update) it's because I'd gotten really lazy. & what happened was that I was left with this HUGE backlog of things that I wanted to blog about but never got a chance to because of said laziness. Then my birthday came around, and I decided I was gonna be a lil more committed to updating my blog starting from this point onwards. However, as Ryan would put it,

FLAW...

My birthday...is possibly the best time ever that I could have picked to make such a resolution, seeing that it's at the tail end of study week.
Brilliant I know :)

& that ladies & gentlemen, is how this post, & the rest proceeding it, ended up getting published only after my birthday.

Anyway, back to today, I'd been meeting Pabo everyday in college for the past week to study & we decided we desperately needed a change of scenery, so we were going to meet in Mid Valley the next morning & find a place to study there.

I took the bus from college & met her at around 8 something and went looking for a place to have breakfast. She ended up treating me breakfast at Toast Box, which has quite nice Lontong, 'if you like sticky rice' as Pabo put it. After studying, we walked around the place & I learned that she enjoys trying out free samples & supermarkets are like heaven for Pabo. She was getting so excited about everything & pointing out things to me here and there, like a little kid at a toy store. Lol!

Then she did something that I've never known anyone else do before in my life. She started walking around the supermarket LOOKING for those booths where they give out free samples. If that wasn't enough, she started complaining why they hadn't set up yet. Hahaha! So typical Pabo that she dubbed herself one level higher than those aunties that keep trying free samples everywhere cause she actually looks for them.

To Pabo: Thanks for tahan-ing me this week, with my constant messaging & concourse analyzing. For making me eat whenever I got too frustrated & cranky, which made you cranky. Apparently I get emo when I don't eat. I never knew that. :X

Lastly, Happy Birthday to all the other 7/11 babies.
There are many of you out there, I know.
Part II coming up!

CHEERS!
