To continue from the previous post..
Pabo left around 12ish, & I met Ian who was actually there but decided not to tell me so I wouldn't be distracted from my studying. So sweet right?
He'd already decided he wanted to take me for a super-expensive movie at GSC Signature at the Gardens. So we headed over & bought tickets for the new James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace. Its a pretty nice place but I doubt I'll be going back there to watch a movie again. Its not very worth it la if you ask me.
About the movie, well I didn't really get it. I'm not sure if its cause I didn't watch Casino Royale but it just didn't make sense to me. Some more I don't like that dude who's playing James Bond now. People say he's good & all but I just don't understand why they couldn't have cast an actor with more... hmm.. just more la.
Ooo.. There was something I discovered about the Gardens (besides the fact that that's the place where all my shoes live) which is they have really cool toilets! I discovered one that I really really liked which is..well in a place I can't really explain but they've got mirrors on a counter behind the sinks! Which I think is soo totally cool cause when you're washing your hands you can see the back of you reflected in the mirror in front of you. Lol!
I really wanted to take a picture but for some strange reason, I suddenly felt I didn't wanna look stupid so I decided to save my jakun-ness for another time. Somehow I'd spent so much time in there that by the time I got out, Ian was standing there with a look on his face that said 'I can't believe you've kept me waiting out here for so long'. Hahaha!
ian: you took so long ah just to do your hair?
ME: how did you know that? :X
ian (points to the entrance of the toilet) : see the reflection over there?
ME: well i can't help it, i've never seen what my hair looks like from the back.
ME: oohh. you know, the next time i need to pee i'm coming here straight.
ian: =.=" yeah... well, you're on your own k.
Such a charming boyfriend no?
Anyway, we ended up chilling in MPH after that, until my family finally came over to meet us after Koler's tuition. Had dinner in Spaghetti Grill to celebrate my birthday & by the time we were done it was quite late so we headed back home.
All in all, I gotta say it was a pretty great day. But I was totally beat that it felt so good to finally be able to sleep. Tomorrow, Chel & I are picking Deb up from the airport!
